One small step for man, One giant leap for mankind. There isn't a thing that man cannot do, If he takes one small step at a time. [R. Harris, "One Small Step," sung by Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Columbia MS 7399]

The current
We enjoyed conference as a family. 6 years old Tanner was playing while we're watching General Conference. Martin and I didn't think he was listening or paying attention. At the end of a talk he came up to Martin and said, " Daddy, I am not going to the danger current, you are not going to the current, my sister is not going to the current, and even my mom is not going to the current. We just go to the save water."
Later on he told us that he'd rather eat his dinner, have some ice cream and go to bed early because he has school tomorrow morning. What a wonderful blessing to have him in our family. So many time I am reminded of the Savior's message "unless you be like a little child."
I often worry for what kind of future or environment my children will grow up with. The messages from the General Conference offer me hope in the gospel of Jesus Christ as the source of teaching in our home.

Our new house
I've been busy making our new place beautiful. Painting and painting and more painting (after priming). Exhausted but satisfied. I have to put up before-after picture (eventually). Don't know when (probably three months after uploading. Can't promise anything. I love my children and enjoy them more and more. I am just following them and being silly. They are happy and I am happy. Heavenly Father has been so good to us. He hears our prayers. Even though we had to wait for a while. I miss my parents so much. I wish they can come and visit us.

Catching up
I have a lot to catch up on my blog. I have been doing a lot of research and more research. I have a big upcoming projects. Most importantly, my kids are doing well. They grow up so much. I need to put some of their pictures too. I am so grateful for many things I don't know where to start. I'm grateful for our little family. Those little feet are growing and I'm afraid it won't be long till they are not so little! It's a good start for now.

Dying flowers
I sent my husband and Tanner to costco with some list. Tanner came home with some pretty flowers. I put them in a vase and told Tanner that we might keep them for a week. He started crying when I told him that the flowers would eventually die and we have to throw them away. He doesn't like the idea that they're dying and that we'll have to throw them away. I explained to him that there is no root on these flowers. He asked, "Why?." I told him that the florist cut them off. He insisted to put them in a pot and give them fertilizer. I patiently told him that all we need to do is to preserve them as long as they can last.

Be thankful!
There is so much to be thankful for! I wish that I don't have to be reminded through thanksgiving and have that spirit at all times. But, I am grateful for thanksgiving for that particular feeling!
Time has gone by so quickly and I felt like wasting my time so much on the things that are less important. That's right! I need to get my priority straight! How? That's a good question. Everybody's priority is different. Which is the most important to one is not necessarily is to other. So, how would we short them out? Maybe the real question would be: What would the Lord want me to do today? or am I being consistent in teaching my children the gospel or doing our scripture reading/study?
